Jim Chapman, Jr.
Jim Chapman Jr., an Atlanta native and graduate of The Westminster Schools, is a homebuilding veteran who started his own custom building firm in 1998 after earning an MBA from Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill in 1996. Jim Jr. amassed considerable management and building experience before beginning his firm by apprenticing as a builder and management trainee with such highly regarded firms as Morrison Homes in Atlanta and Landwright Corporation of Durham, North Carolina. His firm originated as a high-end, custom homebuilding operation building primarily in Buckhead and Alpharetta. He is now applying the quality service standards developed for those luxury homes to the active adult communities he is now developing in Douglas, Gwinnett, Cobb, Fulton and Forsyth Counties. Jim Jr.'s design and architecture partner is Jim Chapman Sr. Jim Jr. also serves on the Board of the Atlanta 50 Plus Housing Council of the HBA.
He and his wife Katherine make their home in Atlanta and are active members of Peachtree Road United Methodist Church.
Jim Chapman, Sr.
Jim Chapman Sr., AIA is an acclaimed architect who served as a faculty member of the Georgia Institute of Technology's School of Architecture before founding his own architecture firm, Chapman Coyle Chapman, in 1969. Under his leadership as senior partner, it annually produces award-winning work whose value exceeds $200 million. Among current projects are Oakmont Golf Club in Pennsylvania, Southern Hills Golf Club in Oklahoma and Congressional Golf Club in Maryland.
His portfolio of past projects includes diverse and distinctive buildings for clients such as The Westminster Schools, Woodward Academy, Emory University, Robert Trent Jones Golf Club, Atlanta Athletic Club and numerous others throughout the United States. Well-known for his expertise in traditional architecture, Jim Sr. designed much of Dunwoody’s Williamsburg-inspired commercial district. Jim Sr. and Jim Jr. collaborated on the traditional design of The Haven Collection to create a highly functional, aesthetically pleasing product for today’s active adult. Jim Sr. is especially excited about his new detached product he designed for Brookhaven at Johns Creek. It should be the ultimate in functionality for today’s active adult. Jim and his wife Maryann, a retired Methodist minister, are active members of Northside United Methodist Church in Atlanta.

Thomas Olson
Thomas Olson, a Minnesota native, earned a bachelor's degree in Corporate Finance from the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire. With nearly 10 years of experience with such notable commercial construction and development firms as Hines, WarrenHanks Construction Company and The Hawkins Companies, Thomas took a position with JCC in late 2005 to run the development and construction of Brookhaven at Sugarloaf. His tremendous real estate knowledge and outstanding performance have since led to his being named the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer of Jim Chapman Communities. In these roles Thomas is tasked with the sales, financial and construction management involving all five of the Jim Chapman Communities. In 2007 Thomas was also made a partner in JCC. Thomas and his wife live in Roswell.
Gregg Goldenberg
Gregg Goldenberg, the owner of residential development company K2 Ventures, LLC, formed a strategic partnership with JCC in 2007 to assist with the selection, acquisition and development of new active adult communities throughout the southeast. In addition to being an investor in several of JCC's new communities, Gregg's day to day responsibilities as the Managing Development Partner include overseeing all aspects of the development process from entitlements to site infrastructure improvements. Gregg has over eighteen years of residential homebuilding and development experience including ten years with Morrison Homes where he held several senior level positions including Atlanta Division President and Senior Vice President of the Southeast Region. Gregg received his undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia and his MBA from the Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. He and his wife live in Buckhead with their two daughters.
Rob Levin
Rob Levin is the Corporate Controller for Jim Chapman Communities bringing to the organization over 15 years of experience in real estate accounting. He currently oversees all accounting functions for the development, construction and sales divisions of JCC. Rob came to JCC in late 2006 from the Novarre Group where he was the Controller for the Management and Sales Division. Prior to that position he was the Corporate Controller for another local development firm Atlanta Loft and Miller Gallman Developers. Rob holds a BS Degree in Mathematics from Texas Wesleyan University and an MBA with an accounting concentration from East Tennessee State University.
Kelly Dempsey
Kelly Dempsey is the Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Jim Chapman Communities. Kelly brings over 25 years of experience in the homebuilding industry with such large firms as Sivica, Pulte and Ryland Homes. Kelly joined JCC in March of 2008 from Sivica Homes where he served as Division Vice President for the South Atlanta Division. Prior to Sivica, Kelly was the Regional Vice President at Choice Homes, overseeing an annual sales volume of over $60 million for the Georgia region. In Kelly's extensive career he has been honored with numerous awards and accolades including many county HBA "Sales Person of the Year" awards and the "Top Gun Leader" award from Choice Homes. Kelly holds a BS Degree in Education from St. Lawrence University.
Sean Morris
As Director of Construction, Sean Morris brings nearly 10 years of production homebuilding experience to Jim Chapman Communities. Sean's duties include managing the day to day construction operations, finalizing development activity through to final plat recording and administering the warranty service process. Sean began his career in residential construction with Centex Homes in the Warranty Service Department where he acquired many of the excellent customer service skills he uses today in his current position with JCC. Prior to his departure from Centex in 2007, Sean served as Lead Project Manager overseeing multiple communities ranging in price from the $100,000's to over one million. Sean holds a BA Degree in Psychology from the University of Georgia and resides in Marietta with his wife and son.
