Even in these tough economic times, Jim Chapman continues to sell homes. Atlanta’s leading active adult home builder had an enjoyed incredible success in the month of June signing 10 contracts and closing on 5 homes.  Specifically, they signed one contract at The Haven at Slater Mill, two at Brookhaven of East Cobb, one at Brookhaven of Lanker Ridge, two at Brookhaven of Johns Creek and three contracts at The Haven at Lost Mountain.

The awards banquet is the industry’s most distinguished national awards program. Big kudos to Jim Chapman Communities as they sold 12 total units in the month of August alone. This is an extraordinary accomplishment when you take into account the dim housing market and unstable economy. Brookhaven of East Cobb sold the most number of active adult new homes out of the Jim Chapman Communities, ending the month with a total of six. This is the community that recently won two awards, both a gold and a silver, at the National Association of Home Builders Best of 50+ Housing Awards Gala. It’s not surprising that Brookhaven of East Cobb has become the most popular Jim Chapman community as it has so much to offer those entering the retirement age. The convenient Kennesaw location puts residents next to I-75 and I-575, as well as Town Center mall and all of the entertainment attractions of Barrett Parkway. The location in combination with the low maintenance homes with luxurious features that were designed with the active adult in mind make the community truly exceptional. An interesting tidbit about the high sales numbers is that traffic was lower in August than it usually is. Brookhaven of East Cobb averages 180 traffic units per month, but only had 60 in August.

Brookhaven at Sugarloaf was a close second by selling five units. Now the Gwinnett County community has only one inventory unit left! A congratulations is in order as Jim Chapman Communities has built another award-winning community! Brookhaven of East Cobb recently received a Gold and Silver Award at the National Association of Home Builders Best of 50+ Housing Awards Gala in New Orleans. The community clubhouse brought home the Gold Award for Jim Chapman, winning the Active Adult Clubhouse: Small category. In the Active Adult Home Design For Sale: 1,701 - 2,400 square feet category, the Westminster II floorplan won the Silver Award. Jim Chapman is especially excited to receive such a prestigious honor for these particular plans, both professionally and personally, as the designing process was a collaborative effort between him and his father. Brookhaven of East Cobb is the newest active adult community for Jim Chapman Communities, and has an exceptional Kennesaw location.
